Job Summary:

A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy Department at Weston Hospital provides direct care to pre- and post-procedure patients in a fast-paced environment, following established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures. The RN will use their strong assessment and critical thinking skills to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide the best outcomes for each patient. This role plays an integral part in ensuring patient advocacy, safety and education.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct care to pre- and post-procedure patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Follows established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for each patient
  • Ensures patient advocacy, safety and education
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year experience as an RN in an acute care setting or surgical services
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire
Work Environment:

The hours of this per diem position are 12-hour shifts, 6am - 6:30pm. A minimum of 48 hours per six-week schedule is required. One shift per week is preferred. No call or weekend requirements.

Cleveland Clinic Health System administers an influenza prevention program. You will be required to comply with this program, which will include obtaining an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption.
