About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular OR team. As a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular OR, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of patient care plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient preferences and goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and report patient progress to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
- CVOR experience preferred.
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
