About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Stow Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and integration of our automated warehouse systems.

Your primary objective will be to commission our storage solutions and integrate them with our customers' warehouse operations. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and configuration of automated warehouse systems
  • Integration of systems with Warehouse Control System and Warehouse Management System
  • Complete commissioning process until project sign-off
  • PLC software configuration and live testing
  • Work on electrical, mechanical, PLCs software, sensors, and safety devices
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of technical installations
  • Create and implement test procedures and technical reports
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with installing and commissioning automated systems, preferably in the material handling/automation/robotics field
  • Strong working knowledge of electromechanical systems, sensors, and PLCs
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or Controls Engineering
  • Affinity with software and willingness to travel to project sites across the United States and Canada
