Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, administer medication and treatments, and assess and coordinate patients' discharge plans
- Work collaboratively with a team of caregivers to provide high-quality patient care
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire
- Previous experience working with post-op cardiac surgical patients
- Experience titrating drips
- ACLS through American Heart Association
- NIHSS Certification
This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods, have corrected vision and hearing, and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
