Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for laying out, setting up, and connecting piping systems for tunnels, roadways, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out and set up piping systems for tunnels, roadways, and drainage systems
  • Cut, thread, and groove pipes in accordance with work drawings
  • Construct dimensionally correct mock-ups for off-site prefabrication, read blueprints, fabricate stands and jigs, and create targets
  • Construct piping systems within required tolerances
  • Fabricate and design pipe hangars
  • Move materials from the shop to the designated work area inside the tunnel
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and engineers
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of pipe fitting experience
  • Previous experience with 1-inch to 20-inch diameter pipes
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in piping system construction, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to interpret drawings and written instructions
  • Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operation, and the environment will affect outcomes
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
