Job Title: Automation Tester

At Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers/Civitek, we are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with software developers, System Project Analysts, and Project Managers to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze the results to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards.
  • Report and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for automated testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role in software testing.
  • Proficiency in one or more test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, SmartBear, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Understanding of SmartBear Software.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure.
  • ISTQB or other relevant certification in software testing.
