We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Wound Care team at SOVAH Health - Martinsville. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized care plans for wound care patients, ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment.
- Perform transcutaneous oxygen monitoring and document patient care given, utilizing critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- Previous experience in acute care hospital settings preferred, with a strong foundation in wound care and management.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information and ideas effectively.
