Job Summary

XLSpecialized Trailers is a leading manufacturer of custom Heavy Haul Trailers. We are seeking a skilled Coating Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate paint spraying equipment to apply prime coat paint and top coat paints.
  • Identify and obtain pertinent information from shop orders and drawings regarding painting requirements.
  • Set up and operate spray paint systems and pressure-pot spray systems.
  • Assist in prepping components, sanding, and reworking paint.
  • Verify specifications by conducting self-inspections.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Resolve paint problems by adjusting processes to meet specifications.
  • Document actions by completing production, quality, and time forms.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year industrial painting experience.
  • Proven ability to operate painting equipment.
  • Basic understanding of shop math.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow procedures.
  • Attention to quality and pride in workmanship.
Work Environment

Work is primarily performed indoors.
