We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Pella Regional Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves providing nursing care to patients in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing effective care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and managing medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely and efficient communication with healthcare teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid nursing license in the State of Iowa and current registration with the Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably as a registered nurse.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
