Pediatric Language Expert

We are excited to offer a part-time Speech Language Pathologist position at Orrville Skilled Nursing and Rehab, working 3-5 days per week.

1. Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
2. Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Work effectively with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
