Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS and other cloud providers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions that meet security, SLA, and performance requirements.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting tools to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive issue resolution with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Engage with the software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure that services are designed and implemented with reliability and scalability in mind.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on reliability and scalability.
- Proficiency in AWS and other cloud providers, including experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, and configuration management tools, such as Chef and Ansible.
- Good understanding of networking and messaging between services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with SCM tools, such as Git and GitHub.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and good knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with logging tools, such as Sumo Logic and ELK.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
