Job Title: Day Porter I

High Tech High is seeking a skilled Day Porter I to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our school buildings. As a key member of our facilities team, you will ensure a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, stairways, and restrooms
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles regularly
  • Power wash exterior walkways and lunch tables
  • Operate machinery, hand trucks, and dollies to perform tasks
  • Assist maintenance technicians with various projects and custodians with building cleaning duties
  • Perform landscaping duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of related experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
