Observation Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient-centered care while collaborating with medical providers and the care team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in case of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license and degree.
