We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Los Angeles Christian Health Centers. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our patients, working closely with our medical staff to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients in the outpatient setting, including evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans, addressing spiritual, emotional, mental, and social needs.
- Work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide whole-person care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in California.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
