Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dining Server Associate to join our team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - Sugarland Enterprises, Inc. As a key member of our dining service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality service, working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. You will be responsible for busing tables, resetting table settings, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area.

As a Dining Server Associate, you will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that food and beverages are delivered to our guests in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for communicating with our management team to address any issues or concerns that may arise during your shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bussing tables and resetting table settings
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, chairs, and walls
  • Restocking condiment holders, cleaning works areas, and performing side work during downtime
  • Refilling ice bins and delivering clean dishes to the cooks or expo line
  • Assisting crew members as needed
  • Performing housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash containers
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work irregular hours
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
