Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic radiologic examinations, including CT, DXA, and other imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently perform diagnostic radiologic examinations, including CT, DXA, and other imaging modalities.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including CT scanners and DXA machines.
  • Develop and implement effective imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) and CT certification (ARRT-C).
  • At least one year of experience in diagnostic radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
