We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic radiologic examinations, including CT, DXA, and other imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Independently perform diagnostic radiologic examinations, including CT, DXA, and other imaging modalities.
- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including CT scanners and DXA machines.
- Develop and implement effective imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) and CT certification (ARRT-C).
- At least one year of experience in diagnostic radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
