We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures and Sheet Metal Technician to join our team at Aviation Technical Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing service, repair, and overhaul tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance work on aircraft structures and sheet metal components, including repair, modification, and replacement.
- Develop repair schemes using technical data and conduct operational tests to ensure airworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Accurately clock time to jobs and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repair or modification.
- Intermediate knowledge of aircraft structures and sheet metal components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of special installation tools.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Airframe and/or Powerplant License and skill level customarily acquired after one year as a General Mechanic, or three years of related commercial/military aircraft experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CompensationThe full base pay range for this position is $33.00 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses.
