At Swift Transportation, our most valuable resource is OUR PEOPLE. Conduct thorough analyses to effectively respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) across various Lines of Business (LOBs) and multiple brands under the KNX umbrella.
Support General Managers with pricing strategies for national accounts and high-profile market projects.
Examine prevailing market trends, economic conditions, and customer pricing to identify opportunities for rate increases, network optimization, and profitability enhancement.
Assess current market trends against historical data to swiftly identify opportunities for proactive adjustments to non-seasonal changes.Analyze extensive data sets for risk management, growth, and network optimization in both Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and historical datasets.
Review customer accessorial and contract terms to mitigate risks and bolster profitability.Develop comprehensive value-added rate proposals that effectively consider customer freight and contract specifications alongside KNX network requirements.
Lead initiatives for process improvement, ensuring that the implementation of enhancements causes minimal disruption.
Engage effectively with all levels of the organization, including sales and operations, as well as various tiers within pricing.
3+ years of experience in pricing and/or operations is required.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Access, is essential.
Familiarity with specialized software such as Business Objects, AS400 query systems, bid compilers, pricing rater programs, and other pricing tools is expected.
