Job Description- Perform Initial Assessments: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Implement treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring effective management of their disorder.
Key Responsibilities: Maintaining accurate patient records, requesting outside consultations and evaluations as needed, planning follow-up care, and providing emotional support to patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Mental Health Experience: Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and completion of psychiatry residency required.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted Medical License to practice in the state of California or CA Nurse Practitioner license and Board Certification as a PMHNP or PA-C necessary.
- Additional Requirements: DEA registration, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and experience working with diverse patient populations in a community-based organization preferred.
