Job Summary:
Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to provide locum tenens assistance in Maine. As a pediatric hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the clinic, nursery, and emergency department
- Perform sick and well visits, nursery rounds, and ER consults
- Admit patients to the hospital as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Document patient information and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Board certification in pediatrics or pediatric hospital medicine
- Current licensure in Maine
- NRP and PALS certification
- Ability to work weekdays, days, and weekends
- Ability to work call shifts

Assignment Details:
The assignment will be for an average of 16 patients per day in the clinic. The pediatric hospitalist will be responsible for providing medical care to patients in the clinic, nursery, and emergency department. The assignment will require the pediatric hospitalist to work weekdays, days, and weekends, as well as call shifts.
