Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services utilizing Siemens CT scanners. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality radiographs are obtained efficiently and safely, adhering to all radiation safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture quality radiographic images for patients, both in the department and with portable equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines for both patients and self, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Perform necessary computer operations including Meditech and PACS, ensuring accurate charge entry and verification of physician orders.
  • Deliver patient care with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, maintaining cleanliness and monitoring supply inventory.
  • Assist radiologists in administering medications and contrast agents, as well as providing comprehensive patient care.
  • Review exams for technical accuracy, ensuring proper markers, quality, positioning, and annotations are in place.
  • Support the Diagnostic Supervisor with PACS maintenance tasks, including cleaning CR plates and managing exam workflows.
  • Maintain personal educational requirements and stay updated on clinical knowledge.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient and employee information in accordance with policy.
Qualifications:
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NIH certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient technical skills.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited CT Tech program.
  • Active, unencumbered CT Tech license in Massachusetts.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Experience in trauma settings with the ability to make independent decisions.

  • Completion of COVID vaccination series including booster.
