• Develop and implement educational curriculum, creating engaging activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Lead by example, modeling and coaching to encourage teaching team success.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
• Maintain open communication with parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations.
• Establish a healthy classroom environment, adhering to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure they follow planned activities and standards.
• Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
• Develop a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

• High school diploma
• Must pass a background check
• 9 credits in ECE preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• CPR/first aid certification or willingness to become certified
• 1 year experience working with young children in a classroom setting
