Job Summary
Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a skilled News Photographer to join our team. As a key member of our news department, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content that tells compelling stories and engages our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit high-quality video and still images for news broadcasts and online platforms
- Conduct interviews and gather footage for news stories and features
- Work closely with reporters and producers to develop story ideas and concepts
- Operate ENG news vehicles and LiveU units
- Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
- Strong non-linear editing skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
