We are seeking a highly qualified Middle School Head Coach to lead our soccer program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sport and travel program, selecting teams for travel seasons, developing daily practice schedules, and supervising students at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the soccer program and ensure its smooth operation
  • Select teams for travel seasons and ensure their readiness
  • Develop and implement daily practice schedules to ensure student-athlete development
  • Supervise students at all times during practices and games
  • Check eligibility of all athletes and ensure compliance with school policies
  • Establish rules and expectations for athletes and ensure their adherence
  • Supervise students to away games on buses and ensure their safety
  • Issue equipment and collect it at the end of the season
  • Secure necessary permits and approvals for the program
  • Stay up-to-date with MSSADA rules and regulations
  • Complete required certifications, including CPR and Concussion in Sports
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of soccer and ability to teach and coach the sport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
