We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Management & Training Corporation (MTC). As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Attend sick call with physicians to assess detainees and prepare examining rooms and equipment.
- Communicate with providers for medication and treatment orders, as well as respond to emergencies.
- Oversee the administration of medication and accurately document treatment according to policies and procedures.
- Examine and assess clients with illnesses or injuries, and refer them to the emergency room as necessary.
- Review medical files to ensure all provided services are documented.
- Closely monitor potential catastrophic illnesses and provide health counseling and education as required.
- Prepare and disseminate safety and accident reports as needed.
- Take appropriate action in cases of serious and unusual incidents and emergencies.
- Degree in nursing.
- Valid nursing RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must work within the Texas state board of nursing scope of practice.
- Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
