Job Summary

The Procurement Associate III (Capital Contracting Specialist) plays a crucial role in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System's capital project contracting services. This position assists in managing capital project procurement processes, ensures compliance with KCTCS business procedures and relevant statutes, and fosters working relationships with consultants, vendors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in overall capital project procurement contracting and contract management for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and its colleges and subdivisions.
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with consultants, vendors, and contractors through excellent customer service and communication.
  3. Ensure contracts are prepared, reviewed, and executed according to KCTCS business procedures and relevant statutes.
  4. Monitor compliance of contracting processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  5. Manage all capital and construction-related contracts throughout the contract life.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Business and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
