Tram Conductor

Job Summary:
As a Tram Driver at the New York Botanical Garden, you will operate tram vehicles in a safe and professional manner, providing narration for the tour of the Garden grounds, collections, and exhibits. This is a temporary part-time position that requires excellent communication skills and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate tram vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
Provide narration for the tour of the Garden grounds, collections, and exhibits
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels
Observe institutional and departmental policies and protocols
Conduct transactions in accordance with Visitor Services Department policies and procedures

Requirements:
Valid driver's license for at least one year
Excellent communication skills
Availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays
Previous customer service experience desired

Physical Demands:
Ability to move 50 pounds
Ability to work in various weather conditions and be outdoors for extended periods

Work Schedule:
Varies; must have open availability 9am-6pm weekends and 2 weekdays

Compensation:
$20/hour
