Join Our Team as an Evening Counselor I

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Evening Counselor I to join our team at Groups Recover Together. As a key member of our cross-functional care team, you will play a vital role in delivering a holistic clinical model that supports the recovery of our members.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use disorder. As an Evening Counselor I, you will be responsible for leading group therapy sessions, managing a caseload, and collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead 2-3 group therapy sessions per week, utilizing our evidence-based curriculum to build recovery skills and foster community
  • Manage a caseload of members, providing individualized support and guidance to promote recovery
  • Collaborate with other team members, including prescribers, care navigators, and peer recovery coaches, to deliver a holistic clinical model
  • Document members' progress, using outcome measures and client feedback to inform treatment decisions
  • Proactively engage in community relations activities, promoting Groups Recover Together's mission and services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active IN behavioral health license, including LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, or CAP
  • Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
  • Compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to quality care
  • Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week, up to 9pm as needed
