Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles with precision and accuracy.
  • Continuously develop expertise as an automotive mechanic, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough courtesy vehicle inspections to ensure high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to our strict standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, service department staff, and other technicians to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to serve guests.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
  • ASE certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles.
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals and targets.
  • Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
  • Desire for long-term career development and growth.
Physical Requirements
  • Possess the physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (over 100 pounds) occasionally.
  • Capable of working with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces as required by the vehicle's needed repair.
  • Necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
  • Ability to walk/stand for most of the workday.
  • Manual transmission driving skills.
  • Proficient in navigating computer systems.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
