Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapy Support Specialist to join our team at Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital of Lubbock. As a Therapy Support Specialist, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist to provide support care to patients and therapy staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support care to patients and therapy staff, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with therapy sessions, providing support and encouragement to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practices.
  • Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills, including data entry, word processing, and record management.
