Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing practice, which includes patient care and oversight of assigned personnel. Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations is critical to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Essential: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Active NM Nursing license or NM compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire) and BLS certification.
  • The hiring department may also require ACLS and/or PAL certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Additionally Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in a specialized area along with two (2) years of general nursing experience.
