Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly qualified and seasoned Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our vibrant legal team. The ideal candidate will possess 5-15 years of extensive experience in managing intricate commercial litigation cases. As a senior attorney, you will be instrumental in offering strategic direction, overseeing cases, and advocating for clients in various commercial disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Case Oversight:** Handle a varied portfolio of complex commercial litigation cases, including breach of contract, business torts, intellectual property issues, and corporate disputes.
2. **Legal Strategy Development:** Formulate and execute effective legal strategies to secure favorable results for clients, involving legal research, case law analysis, and client advisement.
3. **Client Advocacy:** Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution settings such as mediations and arbitrations. Prepare and deliver oral arguments, examine witnesses, and negotiate settlements.
4. **Legal Research and Documentation:** Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft essential legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
5. **Trial Preparation:** Prepare for trial by conducting investigations, gathering evidence, preparing witnesses, and formulating trial strategies. Assist in all facets of trial preparation and courtroom presentations.
6. **Client Advisory:** Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on commercial litigation issues, including risk evaluation and dispute resolution tactics.
7. **Team Leadership:** Mentor and oversee junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
8. **Business Development:** Engage in business development activities by networking with potential clients, attending industry events, and participating in marketing efforts to grow the firm's clientele.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar association.
  • 5-15 years of significant experience in commercial litigation, ideally with a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex commercial litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to advocate effectively for clients.
