In this role, you will be tasked with providing exceptional patient care by employing the nursing process and specialized techniques in a cardiac care environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and ongoing assessments, utilizing the nursing process.
Administer specialized treatments and utilize equipment, including cardiac monitoring, pre/post-operative care for CABG patients, and management of specialized medications and infusions.
Ensure meticulous and comprehensive nursing documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and self-management strategies.
Oversee and delegate responsibilities to healthcare personnel as necessary.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care protocols.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Current RN license and CPR certification are mandatory.
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS EKG certifications are required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac nursing is necessary; 5 years is preferred.
Strong clinical expertise and familiarity with cardiac procedures and technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage stressful situations with professionalism.
