Curative is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to provide locum tenens coverage for an inpatient psychiatric unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients with complex psychiatric conditions and a strong ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Inpatient Care: Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per shift, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and developing treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Call Coverage: Participate in a shared call schedule, responding to phone calls and rounding on psychiatric units as needed. This may include handling new consultations in the emergency department and med/surg units.
- Midlevel Support: Collaborate with midlevel providers to assist with new evaluations and summaries, ensuring seamless care coordination and communication.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience in managing patients with complex psychiatric conditions
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- 29-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
