Job Summary:

This role integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum, including patient and family education. The Registered Nurse relies on education and training to complete responsibilities within the scope of licensure as a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
  • Current Louisiana State license as a Registered Nurse and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within the first 6 months of hire.
