Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at InSearch Medical. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering speech language pathology services to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to assess their speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills
  • Work with patients to assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency
  • Supervise assistants and aides as necessary, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patients' treatments and progress
Requirements:
  • Provide speech language pathology care that complies with organization's best practices, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Comply with federal and state guidelines, including all licensing requirements
