Axios Professional Recruitment is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Order Picker/Packer to join our team on 2nd shift. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, product inspection, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Inspection: Inspect items for quality and accuracy to ensure they match order specifications.
  • Packaging: Properly package products to prevent damage during transportation, selecting appropriate materials and packing items securely.
  • Labeling: Create and apply shipping labels and documentation to packages, including barcoding and entering information into the warehouse management system.
  • Receiving: Assist in receiving incoming goods by unloading shipments, checking against purchase orders, and storing items in the correct locations.
  • Stock Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that goods are stored properly and that stock levels are monitored.
  • Order Picking: Select items from inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy in the quantities and types of items picked.
  • Transporting Goods: Use equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or conveyor belts to move goods within the warehouse.
  • Replenishment: Restock shelves or bins as needed, based on inventory levels and demand.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • General Understanding of RF Scanners: Required.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Pallet Jack: Experience with pallet jacks required.
  • Forklift: Some experience with forklifts is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong Written/Verbal Communication Skills: Required.
