Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible presence on the premises, conducting regular patrols to deter and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Respond promptly to all security incidents, including fire alarms and emergency calls.
  • Ensure that all exit door walkways are clear and safe during and after snowstorms.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs and touch-up painting.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of security experience, preferably in a senior living community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
  • Must possess a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude towards the public.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, follow instructions carefully, and completely.
  • Must possess good organizational skills and be able to work independently.
  • Must possess a current and valid Indiana Driver's License.
