About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our team at DaVita. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient dialysis center. You will work closely with our patients and their families to provide empathetic and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct patient observations, measure stats, and set up dialysis machines
  • Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) may be beneficial
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus
