We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient for treatment by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments.
- Set up instrument trays and prepare dental materials.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, chart examinations and treatment results on patient records.
- Exposure radiographs, develop X-rays, and monitor nitrous oxide treatment.
- Administer emergency procedures as required and provide post-operative instructions.
- Perform routine treatments such as cleanings, polishing, fluoride varnish, and fluoride applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate from a dental assistant school.
- Two years of experience as a dental assistant.
- Nitrous oxide certification and CPR certification.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
