Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care, prioritizing their needs and well-being
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments, identifying and addressing any health concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, best practices, and guidelines in obstetrics and gynecology
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our care standards

Requirements:

• Education in nursing and midwifery, with certification from the American College of Nurse-Midwives
• Connecticut License Certified Nurse Midwife
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, clinical practice standards, and requirements of nurse-midwifery practice
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to independently seek out resources and solve complex problems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to colleagues
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
