Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to provide engineering support for the Galvanizing Lines Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability engineering practices and be able to facilitate root cause analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

* Provides engineering support for the Galvanizing Lines Maintenance Team
* Subject Matter Expert for Reliability Engineering practices
* Initiates and facilitates root cause analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns
* Identifies and proposes solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events

Requirements

* Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline required; Electrical focus preferred
* Proficient in RCM Practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance)
* Able to perform data analysis on equipment performance
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
* 2 years' minimum engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

* CMRP Certification
* PdM Certification or Qualification (Vibration, Thermography, Oil analysis, Tribology, Motor Circuit Analysis)
* CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer)
* 5+ years' experience in a Manufacturing environment (or equivalent industry)
* SolidWorks/AutoCAD working knowledge
* Working knowledge of SAP
* Familiarity with RCFA, Cause Mapping, Kaizen problem solving methodologies

What You'll Be Doing

As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for the Galvanizing Lines Maintenance Team. This includes facilitating root cause analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns, identifying and proposing solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events, and participating in execution of critical equipment inspections and analysis.

Your Work Environment

You will be working in an office and industrial setting in the Hot Dip Galvanizing Lines, located in the Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL. The work environment is dynamic, with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads.
