Automation Skills: Familiarity with automation tools such as Knime or Python is advantageous, or a willingness to learn these technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular Basis support in preparation for system migrations.
  • Modify RFC destinations to facilitate load balancing before migrations.
  • Ensure the operational state of RFC destinations is maintained.
  • Set the Unicode flag for inbound and outbound RFCs to enable or disable, or adjust the encoding configuration as necessary.
  • Utilize existing mechanisms for inventory management of RFC destinations, including ownership verification and reporting.
  • Gather system-related data concerning integrations and connections prior to migration.
  • Assist in resolving defects and incidents as required.
  • Report weekly accomplishments and outline planned activities for the upcoming week, including any assistance needed.

Desirable Skills: Proactive engagement, a sense of urgency, effective communication, and the ability to work independently are essential attributes for this role.
