Bus Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at Muscatine Community School District. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as to and from extracurricular activities.

• Drive a school bus safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Maintain a clean and organized bus environment, adhering to district standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
• Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and respectful environment on the bus
• Perform daily bus inspections and report any maintenance issues to the Transportation Department

• Valid CDL with a school bus endorsement
• Ability to pass a background check and physical examination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings
