Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Technician - Avionics Modification Specialist to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As a key member of our aircraft modification team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft structures to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Aircraft Structures: Identify and resolve issues with aircraft structures, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Modify Aircraft Parts: Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct Hidden Damage Inspections: Assist in conducting thorough inspections of aircraft structures to detect hidden damage.
  • Perform Complex Structural Repairs: Assist with complex structural repairs on or off aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operate Ground Support Equipment: Safely operate ground support equipment as required to support aircraft maintenance and modification activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: You have received training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or have equivalent schooling, and typically have at least 1 year of aircraft structural modification experience.
  • Technical Skills: You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings, and possess basic PC skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: You have an A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate (preferred), and are able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable.
