Onondaga Community College, a college of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach bakery principles. As a member of our diverse educational learning community, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and lab components for the bakery principles course.
- Assess student performance relative to standardized learning objectives.
- Compile and administer tests to evaluate student understanding.
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of professional bakery experience.
- 5 years of prior teaching or training experience.
- Certification to teach online through OCC's Quality Matters.
- Certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager.
- B.S. in Pastry Arts from an accredited academic institution.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Adjunct rate of pay: $1,371/credit hour.
