Overview

The Temecula Recovery Center, a part of the Generations Healthcare network, is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Technician to join their team.

About the Job

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $22-$25 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing direct and support services to clients suffering from substance abuse or co-occurring disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Ensure client participation in treatment-related services, oversee client safety, and monitor daily activities.
  • Transportation: Safely transport clients to outside meetings, appointments, and outings.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and medical emergencies.
  • Client Safety: Conduct regular room searches, confiscate contraband, and report any discrepancies in client whereabouts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certifications: Registered through California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) or equivalent.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment program or other mental health setting preferred.
