ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a welcoming and supportive school district. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience and a strong background in working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state license in Connecticut.
- Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
