Surgery Center

We are seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join our team in Kingwood, TX. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing the OR suite for each case, managing instruments, and ensuring efficient room turnover.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all surgeries and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all surgical instruments and anticipate the next instrument needed
  • Demonstrate competency in all positioning techniques for the surgeries they are participating in
  • Ensure safe and stable placement of patients on the appropriate bed/table, with the necessary equipment, stabilizers, padding, wrapping, and attachments
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a CST
  • Formal education in surgical technology and assisting
  • Orthopedic and Spine Procedures experience
  • Knowledge of sterile processing best practices
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma from an approved Surgical Technologist Program and/or associate degree in a related field preferred
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification from an accredited program or completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the army, navy, air force, marine corps, or coast guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service
  • Current BLS
Work Week Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8-hour dayshift
