Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings for equipment fabrication, working closely with our engineering team to ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed design drawings of machines for fabrication, utilizing AutoCAD and Inventor software.
  • Collaborate with engineers to take their designs and create fabrication-ready drawings.
  • Work with the engineering team to produce high-quality drawings for fabrication with minimal shop redlines.
  • Adopt and maintain department documentation procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize effective communication throughout the process, ensuring seamless collaboration with team members.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or related training and experience.
  • Strong understanding of department tools, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
  • Customer focus and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor software.
  • Experience in machine design and wood products manufacturing.
